Performance Highlights: Dive Calgary divers performed extremely well at the 2024 Canadian Senior Nationals in December. Ernest Braitenbach, Tazman Abramowicz, and Aimee Wilson all earned medals at this prestigious event. Also, an honourable mention goes to Luc Goertzen, who finished in 4th place on the tower even though he is a junior diver. Well done, team!!
Training Opportunities: Lila Gokiert, Ernie Braitenbach, Luc Goertzen, and Daniela Durevska all participated in the Canadian Junior HPAD training camp in Guadalajara, Mexico in January. They were able to access coaching from the best coaches from across Canada and had an amazing cultural experience.

Please be advised that a recent Alberta Diving Board motion was unanimously passed that all clubs shall produce a COVID-19 Return to Sport operating procedure that:
1. Adheres to all Alberta Health Services orders; https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/
2. Complies with Diving Plongeon Canada Return to Sport Guidelines; https://diving.ca/covid-19-resources/
3. Is consistent with all individual facility operating procedures; and
4. Is circulated to any member returning to sport prior to their return.
*Clubs do not need to copy and paste AHS guidelines; a link to the AHS website is sufficient. But, diving and facility-specific procedures should be clearly documented and shared.
Recently our insurance company strongly recommended that all divers sign a waiver and a declaration that will help to better protect clubs and organizations. These documents have been forwarded to all Alberta diving clubs.
