Ashley came to the sport of diving at the age of 11 after spending many years training and competing in gymnastics. She loves that diving has allowed her to travel around the world and make new friends, and she always has a swimsuit packed in her dive bag. The sport has taught her to be disciplined and to never give up because hard work pays off! Canadian Olympian Riley McCormick is her inspiration as he completed University while training for the Olympics. Ashley's many accomplishments include 5 years of Junior Nationals championships with a gold medal on 3m Synchro (McKay), silver medal on 3m (individual) and a bronze medal on Tower in 2014. She competed at the FINA Junior World Championships in Penza, Russia where she placed 5th on 3m synchro (McKay) and 15th on 3m (individual).
Ashley competed for Team Alberta at the 2013 Canada Summer Games and has been named Top Senior Female Diver at the 2014 Western Canada Diving Championships. She has accumulated many provincial medals at both the Junior and Senior levels as well as competed at Senior Nationals, earning a bronze medal on 3m at the 2017 Winter Senior Nationals in Calgary. She competed at the 2016 Olympic trials where she placed 5th on 3m and 9th on Tower.
