Margo started diving at the very young age of 4. She has attended Junior Nationals every year since 2012 where she has achieved silver medals on 1m and 3m and a gold medal on 1m in 2014 and silver medals on 3m and Tower in 2015. In 2016 she was gold medallist on Tower and silver medallist on 1m and 3m at the Speedo Junior Elite Nationals.

She was named to the Canadian Junior National Team in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and represented Canada at the UANA Pan Am Junior Championship in Matanzas, Cuba where she won a gold medal on 3m and placed 7th on both 1m and Tower. She has also competed at the 2016 Dresden International Diving Meet in Dresden, Germany as well as the 2016 FINA Junior World Championships in Kazan, Russia where she placed 8th on Tower and 12th on 3m. She was awarded the Isabel Warren Award at the 2016 Speedo Junior Elite Nationals for the highest cumulative score in the compulsory diving portion in age group B. She competed at the 2016 Olympic trials where she finished 8th on 3m and 5th on Tower. She achieved her first Senior National medal at the 2017 Winter Senior Nationals in Calgary with a bronze on Tower.

Margo says the sport of diving has taught her to be fearless and she admires Canadian divers Meaghan Benfeito and Caeli McKay, whom she trained with for many years in Calgary. Her favourite part of diving is competing internationally and she always travels with her iTac and shami in her dive bag.
