Congratulations to our incredible Diving Team, who will be representing Alberta at the 2025 Canada Games in St. John’s, Newfoundland, this August! These talented athletes have earned their spots through dedication, hard work, and exceptional performances throughout the season. We’re incredibly proud to have them wearing the Alberta colours as they compete against the best young divers from across Canada.

Join us in cheering them on as they dive for gold and showcase the strength of Alberta’s diving program on the national stage.

Alberta Diving would like to congratulate and recognize the following outstanding athletes who recently earned a spot on the Canada Summer Games Training Camp Team for Alberta!

Performance Highlights: Dive Calgary divers performed extremely well at the 2024 Canadian Senior Nationals in December. Ernest Braitenbach, Tazman Abramowicz, and Aimee Wilson all earned medals at this prestigious event. Also, an honourable mention goes to Luc Goertzen, who finished in 4th place on the tower even though he is a junior diver. Well done, team!!

Training Opportunities: Lila Gokiert, Ernie Braitenbach, Luc Goertzen, and Daniela Durevska all participated in the Canadian Junior HPAD training camp in Guadalajara, Mexico in January. They were able to access coaching from the best coaches from across Canada and had an amazing cultural experience.
